I keep meaning to post an update on here, but it keeps slipping my mind.
Things are going very well with me.
I have started running!
Yes, I know it sounds odd. I used to hate running and scoffed at the idea of ever loving it as so many claimed to. However, I have found a sort of inner peace with it lately. It gets me out of my head (and out of the house) for a while and it has been working wonders!
I have lost nearly 15 pounds in six weeks and a few inches overall. My legs are noticeably shaping up and toning down and I couldn't be happier.
Sadly though, I have a rather painful shin splint and am out of commission for a while. I am getting out and at least walking when the pain isn't too bad, but running is sadly on the back burner for now. I may take up shadow boxing for now to keep the cardio up, but I miss my running. Never thought I would see the day where I said that....lol.
